CHILDREN AT THE TABLE, MAKE IT SPECIAL

CHILDREN AT THE TABLE, HOW TO MAKE THE SPACE DEDICATED TO THE LITTLE ONES SPECIAL

Children and the dinner table, a sometimes difficult combination.

It can be quite a feat, in fact, to get little ones to stay calm and composed, especially when the setting is formal, and a grown-up party is being celebrated.

But how to make it easier and keep children entertained even at the dinner table?

There are a few tricks: just create a dedicated area for children where they can sit at the table long enough to eat a quick meal and then turn it into a play area!

Let's start with the area you choose to dedicate to the little ones.

If the occasion is, for example, a birthday party to be celebrated in the garden, choose a special, unusual place where you can create an ad hoc corner.

It can be in the shade of a large tree, near the pool, or by some water feature, in a secluded area where even if you get up you will go unnoticed and won't disturb anyone.

Then we move on to decorations and table colors for the little ones

  • The tablecloth can be white, and the napkins and tableware-even if disposable and made of biodegradable material-as colorful as possible. If the ceremony is themed, indulge yourself by looking for tableware appropriate to the moment or the chosen hue!
  • To enrich it, we suggest some original place cards, perhaps a nice colored pencil with some drawings to be decorated to offer children an easy alternative to boredom, but you can also think of some handmade items from recycled materials that can pique their curiosity.
  • Around the table place balloons of various shapes, preferably in line with the theme you have chosen for the party.

Super recommended is setting up a play corner with books, crafting accessories and big pillows where you can relax and lie down if needed.

But what party is it without music? Search through the children's favorite songs and make a compilation to dance, have fun, and sing together. The party will thus become unforgettable!
